At Dahlberg Portraits, everything we do is rooted in one simple belief: every family deserves to exist in artwork.

Rather than spending our entire marketing budget on traditional advertising or social media campaigns, we choose to invest directly in families. Our gifted portrait sessions are designed to introduce new families to our portrait studio by inviting them into the experience with no obligation beyond the complimentary fine art portrait we provide.
 

We offer gifted sessions for two important reasons: 
 

1. We believe family artwork belongs on your walls, not just on your phone.

In today’s digital world, memories often live quietly in folders and photo libraries. While digital images are convenient, there is something deeply meaningful about walking into your home and seeing the people you love displayed in timeless portraiture.

Choosing a portrait studio is a personal decision, and we do not take that trust lightly. By gifting a professional portrait session and a fine art portrait, we hope families have the opportunity to experience our work, our care, and our approach without pressure.

There is no obligation to purchase additional artwork beyond what is gifted. Many families do fall in love with their portraits and choose to invest in beautiful pieces, and if they do, our team is there to guide them thoughtfully through available options. The decision is always theirs.

About the Session Retainer

To reserve time on our calendar, we require a fully refundable retainer. This simply ensures that dedicated time with our team is set aside for your portrait session. If you choose not to order additional artwork beyond your gifted portrait, the retainer is returned.
